Dr. Turner is originally from Hartwell, Georgia. She earned her undergraduate degree in microbiology from the University of Georgia before heading to Atlanta for medical school at Emory University School of Medicine. Residency brought Dr. Turner westward to complete her training in the Saint Joseph Hospital Family Medicine Residency program in Denver. A board certified physician, she spent the next six years working in Lakewood before transitioning back to Georgia for another six years of work in a rural primary care clinic.“I believe that our role as family physicians is not only to provide care in times of illness but to partner with patients and families to promote health optimization and fullness of life.”Dr. Turner and her husband are excited to return to Colorado with their three young boys and three dogs. They love adventuring and exploring together.
