At CVB Dr. Zervas identified and prioritized therapeutic targets for PTSD resulting in a 2025 Frontiers in Drug Discovery publication. Dr. Zervas also designed mouse genetic models of neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Zervas conducted assays, which were published and led to Miglustat approval for Niemann-Pick Disease Type C (NPC). Miglustat is used an adjunct therapy supporting the first FDA approved therapy for NPC (MIPLYFFA).
