A Colorado native, Zachary Mattka, DO, is excited to join the Intermountain Health team caring for the Wheat Ridge community. As a board-certified family medicine provider, Dr. Mattka’s clinical interests include lifestyle medicine, chronic disease management, and women's health. He earned an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Denver and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Most recently, Dr. Mattka completed a family medicine residency with Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, OR.

“I love working with patients long-term to chip away at more significant problems and attend to the small ones that happen along the way. Most of the changes that affect your health happen outside of my office. Our meetings are to discuss problems, develop strategies, and maintain your successes.”

Dr. Mattka recharges by exercising, cooking, skiing, listening to music, and playing with his dog.
