Yuman Fong, M.D., is a surgical oncologist at City of Hope Duarte in the Los Angeles-area, the Sangiacomo Family Chair in Surgical Oncology, Chair and Professor, Department of Surgery, Director, Center for International Medicine and the Director, Center for Surgical Innovation and an internationally. Dr. Fong is a recognized expert in cancer of the liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts. He has led the research effort to employ genetically modified viruses to destroy cancer cells. He is fluent in English and Cantonese.
