Our founder and master esthetician, Rain Hoffmann, found her passion for skincare while listening to her grandfather teach her about traditional Indian ayurvedic medicine and holistic treatments for a variety of health issues. Using eastern medicine, she would create many at-home face masks and remedies using mixed fruits, spices, and herbs, and then she would share them with her family and friends. Once she received her degree in Medical Diagnostic Imagery from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA, she worked 10 years in the dermatology office in the main line health system. That wealth of knowledge and her creative spark led her to create Your Skin Prescription, a med spa and IV drip lounge in Sewickley where patients could receive holistic care in a more intimate, comfortable setting.
