Yaquelin went to medical school in Cuba and graduated in 1996 as an MD. She came to the US in 2000, andgot her MS in nursing from the University of South Florida (USF). She is a dermatology clinical preceptor for the USF College of Nursing Master's and Doctoral students. Yaquelin is passionate about detecting and treating skin cancer and disorders of the skin, nails, and hair, and is skilled in many dermatologic surgical procedures. She offers rejuvenating cosmetic services like BOTOX® Cosmetic, Juvéderm®, and Restylane®. Yaquelin is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Dermatology Nurse Association, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Florida Association of Physician Assistants.
