Wood's Mercantile is a furniture store and design center located in Downtown Clarkesville. The oldest retail store in Habersham County, Wood's has been a community staple for sixty years. Owners Kevin and Melissa Wood purchased the store in January 2019 and renovated the interior of the store and updated the product lines. Carrying both designer-friendly lines such as Norwalk and reliable industry favorites such as La-Z-Boy, Wood's Mercantile has something for every customer. In addition to furniture and decor, Wood's also provides a variety of mattress options in their private mattress showroom.
