Dr. Jill Friesen has practiced in Redding for 18 years. After working many years in traditional family practice, she became frustrated with the demands of insurance companies and government agencies. These demands took more and more time away from patient care, which negatively impacted the quality of care and the physician/patient relationship. Dr. Jill started Wellcare MD to provide personalized, patient-centered care focusing on disease prevention, disease treatment, and health and wellness education. Through Wellcare MD, she is able to be an advocate for her patients, and helps them navigate the chaotic medical system to obtain the best care available for their individual needs.
