Wake Radiology UNC Health Rex West Raleigh Interventional Center is located off Lake Boone Trail in the Rexwoods Medical Park, near the Blue Ridge Road intersection. This center specializes in Interventional Radiology (IR), offering a range of minimally invasive outpatient procedures. Services include port placement, removal, and checks, thyroid biopsy, lymph node biopsy, thoracentesis and paracentesis, prostate artery embolization (PAE), and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). Our subspecialized Interventional Radiologists and dedicated PAs are on-site daily, providing expert, compassionate care and avoiding the need for hospital stays.
