Because of our advanced-level training in both Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we are highly skills in working with people who are struggling with:

• Anxiety Disorders (including Social Anxiety and OCD)
• Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) or BPD traits
• Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Gifted & Talented Individuals in need of strategies to thrive with their giftedness
• Individuals motivated to safely overcome Self-Harming behaviors, and/or suicidal thoughts.
• Complex Psychological Trauma and PTSD

Our primary specialty area is providing therapy to people with multiple/complex mental health diagnoses, who also experience their emotions as overwhelming and difficult to manage.

Our Qualifications:

At Wise Mind DBT & CBT Center, you will work with an Advanced-Trained Therapist. Many of our therapists also hold additional Professional Certification in DBT (C-DBT), and many hold Certifications in Trauma Therapy (CCTP-II, CTP).

Our Executive Director, Lisa Herpolsheimer, LCSW, CCTPII, C-DBT completed her extensive and advanced DBT training through the prestigious Marsha Linehan, PhD official training institute Behavioral Tech, LLC (Dr. Linehan is the founder of DBT). Lisa provides ongoing clinical supervision and ongoing advanced clinical training to our State-Licensed Professional Therapists and DBT Skills Trainers.
