Dr. Vivek Alaigh is a board-certified endocrinologist who specializes in caring for patients with disorders of the endocrine system. His areas of expertise include diabetes, thyroid disease, and issues of calcium/bone metabolism such as osteoporosis, pituitary dysfunction, and thyroid/endocrine neoplasia.
Dr. Alaigh also treats patients with complex endocrine issues in the hospital. He has had poster presentations at several national endocrine conferences, and was a recipient of the Merck ENDO Experience Travel Award in 2019 for a presentation on a complex diabetes case. He additionally has an interest in clinical education; he enjoys working with residents and medical students, and received a certificate in Health Education Professions in 2017 from the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Alaigh is a native of the Stamford area, and is pleased to help the patients in his community.
