Curtis M. Chipman joined the law firm of Udall Shumway in 1997 and is part of the firm’s Transactional Section. Mr. Chipman has a broad based transactional practice. Mr. Chipman’s real estate transactional practice primarily involves the review and drafting of purchase agreements, lease agreements, easement agreements and other documentation related to real estate transactions.

Kathleen (Harrington) Brantingham joined Udall Shumway in March of 2023 to focus on education law. She has extensive experience in both law and education. After graduating from the University of San Francisco School of Law and passing the California Bar, Ms. Brantingham spent 12 years as a litigation attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area. She also spent more than a decade teaching in the Law Studies and Paralegal Certificate Programs at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.

Ms. Davis came to Udall Shumway uniquely qualified in the area of education law. Prior to completing her legal education and joining Udall Shumway, Ms. Davis worked as a school psychologist for twelve years in both Arizona and Washington States. Ms. Davis also owned her own business while in Washington State providing assessments and advocacy to both school-aged children and adults in post-secondary educational institutions.

We have four well qualified Family Law Divorce Attorneys, two of whom are certified specialists in family law who routinely provide continuing education seminars to other attorneys, are skilled litigators but also talented negotiators with an eye pointed towards settlement whenever possible.
