On a recent flight from Newark, NJ to West Palm Beach, FL to relocate with my two cats, I was blessed to interact with professional and caring people at both the United check-in counter and Newark International airport who helped make this stressful trip more tolerable
The United check-in rep was kind enough to check my carry-on bag gratis to make it easier for me to wrangle the two cat carriers, a kind young gentleman wheeled me (I and recovering from knee replacement surgery) from check-in to the door of the airplane, including a brief stop to have the cats removed from their carriers while the carriers were scanned. Then he actually helped me carry things onto the plane, stow them in the overhead compartment and secure the cats under the seats in front of me!
The flight attendants for the trip made sure that I had that same attentive help waiting for me at PBI on arrival.
The seats on the plane were roomy, the plane was immaculate, and their service was above and beyond! It is so very easy to complain about something but I believe that quality and professionalism should be commended when it's noted!
Thank you, United Airlines and Newark airport personnel for doing a stellar job! You rock!
