Triple R Insurance was founded on the belief that strong relationships, local knowledge, and customer service still matter in the insurance business.

Owner Reagan Coulter grew up in Colby, Kansas, where he graduated from Colby High School before continuing his education at Colby Community College. He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Reagan began his insurance career in 2011, working with State Farm, where he gained valuable experience and a deep understanding of how to properly protect families, farms, and businesses.

In 2019, Reagan took the next step by purchasing the Robert Spresser Insurance Agency in Atwood, Kansas, and officially forming Triple R Insurance. That same year, a Colby location was opened, allowing the agency to better serve clients throughout northwest Kansas. Through steady growth and a commitment to personalized service, Triple R Insurance quickly became a well-established and trusted independent agency in the region.

In January of 2023, Triple R Insurance expanded again with the acquisition of Strutt Insurance Services, owned by Darvin and Tammi Strutt. Strutt Insurance has deep roots in the community, originally founded in 1924 as F&M Insurance before being purchased by Darvin and Tammi in 1992. The two agencies were combined into one, bringing together over a century of insurance experience under one unified team.

Today, Triple R Insurance stands as one of the leading independent insurance agencies in northwest Kansas. Our team includes 12 licensed agents who specialize in farm, crop, business, home, and auto insurance. We are dedicated to providing dependable coverage, sound advice, and exceptional service—while staying true to the communities we serve.
