The physicians of Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Pathology & Laboratory Management specialize in the origin, development and diagnosis of diseases. Pathologists oversee the laboratories and make diagnoses on blood and tissue samples. Included among our 14 board-certified pathologists are fellowship-trained physicians in surgical pathology, gastrointestinal/liver pathology, molecular and genetic pathology, dermatopathology, gynecologic pathology, urologic pathology, cytopathology and hematopathology. They are dedicated to understanding the basis of a disease to select the best course of treatment for patients

Laboratories co-managed by Trinity IHA pathologists receive outstanding scores from external auditors. Our laboratories are accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks and the College of American Pathologists. These labs are also recognized by the Joint Commission (JCAHO); certified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act; registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration; and staffed with American Board of Pathology board-certified pathologists.
