Originally from Loveland, Colorado, Dr. Milligan earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathy from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine Arizona. Most recently, Dr. Milligan completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from The University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. Milligan’s clinical interests include the non-operative management of musculoskeletal and neurological issues. These include joint and muscle injuries, spinal cord injury, post-stroke care, spasticity management, post-amputation management, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy and multiple sclerosis.“I work with my patients to maximize their functional abilities and quality of life. This is done through a team approach utilizing physical, occupational and speech therapy as well as rehab nursing as the cornerstone and supplementing with lifestyle changes, medications, injections and procedures. I strive to find and fix the cause of the problem instead of just treating symptoms.”When not working, Dr. Milligan enjoys riding bikes, eating dark chocolate, reading and listening to podcasts.
