I joke that I have hundreds of grandmas and grandpas. This area of medicine, caring for older adults, is where my heart is. We educate people how to stay healthy and age gracefully. We concentrate on the whole person, not a condition. We give them more time with the doctor, discuss care plans, discuss how to minimize medications and improve their quality of life.
