Tom Murray Monument Co. was founded by Thomas J. Murray at its present location in the West Florissant Ave. cemetery district on Nov. 23, 1945, where it has served thousands of satisfied customers throughout the St. Louis metro area for their monument and memorialization needs, as well as custom items.

Of the five original monument companies listed in the 1955 Granite Cutters Journal and located on West Florissant Ave, only Tom Murray Monument is still in operation today.
