He is a professor of urology at Weill Cornell Medical College and holds positions as vice dean and professor of urology at Texas A&M College of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine where he also is a clinical professor of urology. He completed his urology residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
