When I was a teenager, my mom had quite a bit of health issues. Because of that, I was trying to figure out what was going on with her and I just became interested in the sciences and decided to pursue that. It's because of her background that I found the passion to try and investigate what's going on with the human body. I chose primary care because I like the continuity within families. I like to be able to take care of mom, dad, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, etc. Getting to know the family dynamics is very important in understanding one's health. The aspect of my job that excites me the most is just coming in every day, meeting patients and just getting to talk with them. The one piece of advice I would offer my patients is to be honest when you come to see your doctor. Tell them everything that's going on. We're here to listen and we're here to help you.
