Three Rivers Vein Center

Dr. Macrino is board certified in vascular and interventional radiology and is located at Three Rivers Vein Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. Her education and extensive career experience allow her to accurately diagnose and treat a variety of lower extremity conditions. Dr. Macrino graduated from Gannon University in Erie, Pa and obtained her MD from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. She then completed her radiology residency and vascular and interventional fellowship within the Allegheny Health Network. Dr Macrino worked within the division of interventional radiology at AHN for several years prior to relocating to Houston, Tx to practice exclusively in an outpatient vein center. She was able to gain years of valuable knowledge and experience in Texas, having been exposed to a broad spectrum of venous and lymphatic diseases. Family ties and friendships recently brought her and her husband back to the Pittsburgh area. When she is not seeing patients, Dr Macrino enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs as well as traveling, working out and volunteering with dog rescues.

Dr Andrus obtained his bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. He then relocated to Pittsburgh to complete his radiology residency and vascular interventional fellowship with Allegheny Health Network. Dr Andrus joined South Hills Radiology Associates in 2014 with a focus on vascular interventional medicine, wanting to serve the community he lives in. He was appointed chair of medical imaging at St Clair Hospital in 2017 and continues to serve this role. Dr Andrus has been the director of the St. Clair Vein Center, which he founded in 2015. He discovered that vein care was underserved in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. With the growing demand for such care, he and Dr Macrino developed the vision of a comprehensive vein center and Three Rivers Vein Center was established. When he is not seeing patients, Dr Andrus enjoys traveling with his family, hiking, drawing and gardening.
