Teresa (Tessa) has always been passionate about helping others. Right after high school, she started working as a bedside nurse. After deciding that she wanted to care for entire families, she went back to school to get her degree to become a family nurse practitioner. She believes that by helping entire families, not just individuals, she is able to provide the best health results and make a positive impact on community health. She is also an ally and advocate for LGBTQIA community members and has been seeking out continuing education regarding care for those folks in an effort to make sure everyone in the community can feel they can access healthcare in a safe environment.
