I was drawn to the field of ophthalmology because of the profound impact it can have on improving someone's quality of life. There is an unmatched sense of fulfillment that comes with helping restore a patient's vision and independence after vision loss. Witnessing their joy and excitement as their sight returns is one of the most rewarding experiences in my work. I strive to develop long-lasting connections with my patients, being present as their physician during vulnerable moments. When patients feel overwhelmed, I guide them through decisions with the same care and advice I would give my own family members. I make it a priority to thoroughly explain all treatment options and empower my patients to take an active role in their care. By combining medical expertise with a personal touch, I aim to help each patient feel confident, cared for, and supported on their journey to preserving and improving their vision.
