Takirah is a board-certified Physician Assistant who discovered her passion for dermatology while working as a medical assistant during her undergraduate studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. She went on to earn her Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan, where she focused on health education, cultural competence, and building strong, trust-based relationships with patients.
After completing her medical training at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, Takirah received six months of intensive, hands-on dermatology training through our advanced training program.
