TNT's Construction L.L.C

My family and I hired Tommy Todd of TNT's Construction, LLC for my son's home remodel. We were guaranteed professional services and paid for 'professional' services. However, over the course of the remodel it was quite evident the crew struggled with even the most basic of tasks. It was routinely reported to us they could not get in touch with Tommy Todd when help was needed on-site or for supplies. Whenever we made contact with Tommy Todd about the same concerns we were quickly berated for talking with his employees or interfering with 'his project'. TNT's Construction failed to deliver any of the promises or terms of the contract. The construction crew painted the walls and ceiling prior to sanding the sheetrock mud essentially wasting the paint I supplied. The crew failed to frame up the kitchen wall at 90 degrees which resulted in the kitchen countertops not fitting. Tommy Todd assured us he would fix the counters personally but failed to do so. His crew attempted to fix the counters but butchered the cut resulting in a lot of putty filling the gaps and chips. We told TNT to replace the countertops, however, Tommy Todd told his new crew to only remove 1 side. Neither countertop was replaced. Tommy Todd claimed he and his crew knew how to install an HVAC unit. However, none of the crew on site understood how to install the unit and Tommy Todd would never come out to assist his workers. The HVAC unit is still not installed. Tommy Todd and the crew went against our design plans but still billed us for the plans and supplies. TNT's Construction was paid almost all of the contract yet I am forced to move on to another contractor to complete the remodel due to repeated mistakes and overwhelming costs. I provided our own invoice to Tommy Todd for reimbursement for lost labor, damages, and mistakes rendered. His comment, "those prices are outrageous where are you even getting these numbers from". I explained the numbers were obtained directly from his original invoice/contract and I took averages based on #items or by sq foot where applicable to deduce the amount to be reimbursed. He only stated that I don't know what I'm doing and he will not be paying me anything. The remodel is for my 21 yr old autistic son and TNT's management and workers all knew this.
I will be providing pictures of the work provided and please note, TNT's Construction was terminated from this contract for failing to deliver terms of their contract and for lack of professionalism from TNT's owner. He was quite rude and difficult to deal with when attempting to discuss issues. We do not recommend TNT's Construction, LLC.
