Dr. Sylvester McRae joined Midtown OBGYN in 2025 as an expert in hormone management. Being a Columbus native, he is a part of a family full of doctors. He is one of a few physicians in the country able to perform a robotic hysterectomy through a one-inch incision inside the belly button, and he has performed over 1000 robotic surgeries! When not at work he enjoys spending time with the love of his life for 47+ years Rose, their three children (Sylvester II, Kevin and Kimberly), and their grandchildren. When not helping Rose manage a colony of feral cats, you can find him handling his backyard semi-pet – a 9-foot rattlesnake! His hobbies include golfing, hunting, and fishing.
