Growing up in Southern California, she was a fan of the TV show “Growing Pains,” which influenced her to take up a profession where she could help people.Her professional journey began as a mental health worker in California, and she moved on to become a social worker at a hospital in California, and a mental health therapist at Pacific Clinics in California. She worked in Oregon for a time as a mental health specialist and then moved back to California to serve as lead clinical therapist and later clinical supervisor at Tri-City Mental Health Center in Pomona, where her responsibilities included ensuring the delivery of quality care.Susan holds a BA in social work from California State University, Long Beach, and an MA in social work from California State University, Los Angeles. She is currently licensed in Nevada as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
