I left the shop two hours ago after asking the employee to purchase coils for the Uwell Caliburn. When I arrived home I opened the box and the coils were built into pods. With everything I have experienced on this device the coils are normally separate items, l but since I asked for coils I thought the employee knew what to give me and that there was no mistake.
I filled the coil/pod with juice since you dont use a coil before placing juice into it and after thirty minutes put it into my device. It did not fit. Upon inspection the employee had given me something unrelated to what I had asked for.
I immediately returned to the store. Pointed out the mistake made by the store and politely offered to pay for half of the item since i should have not been so trusting.
I did this out a feeling of decency toward small business but the employee immediately told me that, yes id be paying since Id filled the pod.
I pointed out that the coil was built into the pod and that since i had brought my device in with me I had guessed that he knew what I needed when i asked fir coils sonce he seemed aware pf what he was handing me.
The employee said he had to get someone on the phone and when talking to "management" told them that I bought pods and filled one up, intentionally not making a note of the fact that I had asked for coils and was handed an item that has a non removable coil.
I would have been happy to look at what I was getting prior to purchase but have dealt with this young man on a regular basis And trusted his certainty in what I was being handed.
The main reason I write this review is how sickening it was that he tried to hide his mistake when speaking to management.
(did walk back in to buy juice after initially writing the review since it might be a while before I visit again and I do like their selection.)
