Dr. Epting is double board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. She completed her Interventional Spine & Pain Management Fellowship at Northeastern Rehabilitation Associates in Pennsylvania, as well as additional fellowship training at Advanced Pain Management, Inc. in Florida.

Before joining Florida Orthopedic Institute, Dr. Epting worked at the Institute of Pain Management in Jacksonville, FL while her husband served in the U.S. Navy. She worked as an attending physician and a Clinical Sub-Investigator for the Florida Institute of Medical Research.
