The importance of good spine care cannot be overstated. This is why the Spine and Disc Center of Washington in Fircrest, WA, led by Dr. Slavik Goras has been serving our community to help patients with spine and disc problems and specifically severe disc injuries. It is Dr. Slavik's life mission to help those with severe disc injuries. He has been treating patients in the greater Tacoma area for over 10 years before opening his own practice.
He realized the importance of finding his niche in disc specific injuries as there was a lack of care for it in the Tacoma area. Dr. Slavik continued his education by learning important spinal decompression techniques such as the KDT decompression technique.

He is a member of the Disc Centers of America, which is the largest non-surgical spinal decompression organization, and in 2022 he was certified by the IDEA in non-surgical spinal decompression, which is the only post-graduate college backed organization.
