Sonal Pruthi, MBBS, is a vascular medicine and interventional cardiologist, board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear medicine. She specializes in minimally invasive vascular procedures for arterial and venous diseases, including pulmonary embolism.  Dr. Pruthi's training includes being the Valedictorian at University College of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India, and completing residency at SUNY Upstate New York. She completed her fellowship at the University of Connecticut/Hartford Hospital, followed by pursuing Interventional Cardiology training at NYU Langone Medical Center. She also received subspecialty training in Endovascular Intervention and Vascular Medicine at Columbia. Dr. Pruthi is a full-time faculty member, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY.
