If I could share one insight on wellness:
For me, wellness encompasses a holistic approach towards both prevention and treatment. Keeping in mind the relationship between mind, body and spirit helps us to avoid overlooking key factors affecting one’s health.

My patient care philosophy:
Establishing a strong relationship with my patients, as well as understanding their particular goals and preferences, is the first step in the process. I then strive to provide the relevant clinical guidelines, including the potential risks and benefits of each path forward in addressing health care issues that may arise, while completely supporting each individual in whatever approach they choose to take. I also work proactively with each individual to focus on appropriate screening and preventive care, which is the best kind of medicine.

Commitment to Collaboration:
Dr. Firouzi has over 20 years of experience dedicated to serving his local community. During this time, he has collaborated with other professionals in various capacities including as a primary care physician, medical director, physician consultant for an electronic health record company and a medical informatics officer. He has also served on multiple committees including IT steering committees, risk management, disaster preparedness, as well as working alongside top leadership in the support of development of a primary care telemedicine program.
