Dr. Silvina Om is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. She delivers evidence-based, preventive, and personalized care that promotes long-term health and meaningful improvements in quality of life. She emphasizes continuity and trust-based relationships, partnering with patients to support informed decision-making aligned with their goals and values.
Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, women’s health, and mental health. Dr. Om has a particular interest in health policy, healthcare administration, and medical education. She serves as Medical Director of Education, leading faculty development and overseeing medical student education, and is faculty in the Columbia Family Medicine Residency Program, where she trains and mentors residents.
