My passion for caring for people probably comes from my family. I always had a heart for helping people and wanted to lend a helping hand to anyone struggling. I'm excited that my location on Clayton-Clarkson is starting same-day appointments for established patients and for opportunities for more hands-on ways to use my nursing degree, build rapport with my patients and empower them to advocate for their health. I'm looking forward to treating patients right away instead of making them wait to see the doctor. I work mainly in pediatrics, and I love it, but I'll soon see ages 12 and up, and I'm looking forward to caring for older adults too. I'm a big believer in patient education. There's a lot needed. I want to help patients understand how to take care of their own health and about the options available. I'd tell patients to trust the process. Health is a journey; it's not a fast fix. Sometimes it takes a while to get your health back on track.
