Shanel Parlar-Chun, MD, attended Baylor College of Medicine, earning her medical degree with honors in 2013. She remained there to complete a Pediatrics residency in 2014 at Texas Children's Hospital. Dr. Parlar-Chun joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2024 to become the pediatrician she wishes she had as a child: one who takes time to listen and explain the conditions behind her patients' health concerns.

As a primary care provider in Pediatrics, Dr. Parlar-Chun loves the variety of the medical needs she encounters every day - ranging from well checks and sports physicals to acute and chronic sick care. She treats patients for concerns such as respiratory illness, bacterial and ear infections, skin conditions, stomach aches, and more.
