Shala A. Salem, MD

Dr. Shala A. Salem, MD, is a fertility specialist at Pacific Reproductive Center in Torrance, CA, where she has been helping patients grow their families since 2009. A UCLA graduate in psychobiology and neuroscience, she earned her medical degree at St. Georges University and completed her OB-GYN residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Shala believes fertility care should treat the whole person, balancing advanced treatments like IVF, IUI, and embryo transfer with attention to nutrition, stress, and emotional well-being. She also completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, bringing a holistic approach to infertility treatment that empowers patients with both science and compassionate care.
