Dr. Shaan Mehta is dual fellowship-trained in interventional pain management and non-operative sports medicine, specializing in nonsurgical treatment for spine and musculoskeletal pain conditions. He performs spine and peripheral joint injections and has special interests in degenerative spine conditions. Dr. Mehta earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed his residency at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, followed by fellowships at Texas Christian University and the Deuk Spine Institute. Dr. Mehta is part of FOI's Spine & Pain program at North Tampa and sees patients in Brandon and Sun City Center. Dr. Mehta is currently a physician at Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
