I earned my Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and work as Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) in UNC Rex Heart Failure Clinic. I am passionate about improving outcomes in patients with heart failure by optimizing their heart failure medications and helping them to navigate the complexities associated with medication access. I work closely with the Heart Failure Specialists to quickly escalate guideline-directed medical therapy, which helps to reduce heart failure symptoms, hospitalizations, and major cardiac events. I serve as the primary preceptor for second year pharmacy residents specializing in Ambulatory Care and Cardiology.
