Sandra was born in Salt Lake City, but lived all over the country before finally settling back in the mountain west. She studied at BYU and Weber State University, and then went onto the University of Utah to earn her Doctor of Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees. Along with providing family medicine at Ogden Clinic, Sandra has a special interest in helping women throughout all phases of life. She is a certified Nurse Midwife and Menopause Practitioner with NAMS.
