Sandra currently sees patients 6 month old and up. Sandra specializes in the treatment of all acute and chronic medical skin conditions. Sandra French, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC started her nursing career in 1997 in the field of dermatology. After several years as a registered nurse in dermatology, she had the desire to do more for her patients and decided to return to school to obtain her advanced practice nursing degree. She graduated with honors in 2007 from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) and obtained board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She returned to UTC and obtained her Doctorate of Nursing in December 2019. She is an active member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. As a nurse practitioner, her clinical practice experience includes several years in family practice, peripheral vein disease and dermatology. Sandra specializes in the treatment of all acute and chronic medical skin conditions and strives to provide evidence-based personalized skin care to all her patients. Sandra has two grown boys, one grandson and two dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, kayaking, and spending time outdoors mountain biking and hiking.
