Dr. Azar, a Texas native from Belton and San Antonio, was valedictorian of both her high school and Schreiner University, where she earned a BA in chemistry. She attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for medical school, earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. Now excited to return to Texas, Dr. Azar specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology with a focus on cataract surgery. She enjoys lake days, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
