She is passionate about helping individuals gain insight into themselves, validate their own emotions and needs, and strive to be the best version of themselves. Sophie utilizes CBT, emotion-focused approaches, trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness and acceptance-based practices, and motivational techniques. She values building a safe, nonjudgmental, and open therapeutic relationship and finds it particularly important to learn about relevant aspects of clients’ identities and backgrounds that may inform their treatment.
