The basement of this home in Milford, NH suffered water damage after a broken pipe ran for 12 hours. The paneling was removed from the base of the walls. Air scrubbers were used to remove mold spores from the air to reduce the chance of mold growth. And a large Low Grain Refrigerant Dehumidifier was used to reduce the humidity to significantly lower levels than conventional dehumidifiers can.
After water damage to this basement several pieces of equipment were used to remove the water damage. The equipment with the tall handle bars in the center of the room is called a Rover. It is designed to extract as much water as possible from wet carpeting. The hose is connected to the truck mount which creates a powerful vacuum. They are much more effective than a conventional wand for extracting water from carpet. The unit is self propelled, and the technician rides on it to add weight.

A close up of air scrubbers used during this water damage incident in Milford, NH. Air scrubbers are used to remove mold spores from the air. Mold spores range from 1 to 5 microns in size and the air scrubbers contain HEPA filtration which will remove particles down to the size of 0.3 microns.
