Rishi Patel, MD

Dr. Rishi Patel grew up Kentucky. He received his undergraduate degree from Oxford College and Emory University in Religion and Chemistry and his master’s degree in Bioethics with a focus on Healthcare Policy from the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Patel completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by his Hematology/Oncology Fellowship at the NCCN designated O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Alabama Birmingham College of Medicine. During his training he served on the Graduate Medical Education committee and participated in the American Society of Hematology External Mentorship Program in Non-malignant/classical Hematology.
