Rest Haven York is a family-owned, accredited Nursing and Rehabilitation center serving York Pennsylvania and surrounding areas since 1962. Rest Haven is a 159 bed facility offering skilled nursing care, rehabilitation services, and recreational therapy.The mission of Rest Haven York is to provide and promote quality care and rehabilitative services while respecting the rights and dignity of the individual.We know that each person is unique. When someone comes to Rest Haven York, either for a short-term therapy stay, or for ongoing nursing care and assistance with daily activities, they are greeted by warm and professional staff members who are genuinely interested in getting to know the person not the patient.Consistent staffing in each neighborhood guarantees that every resident gets to know his or her caregivers. The caregivers, in turn, learn about the lives and preferences of each resident, as well as many little aspects of a residents personality. This knowledge, and the understanding that goes with it, works to make care individualized and personal, bringing contentment, comfort, and happiness to each resident living in our community.Medical services are provided by a caring, professional staff, who have been trained to meet the personal needs of residents needing varying levels of care. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants along with the medical director and rehabilitation specialists work together to meet the individual goals of each resident.Every member of the Rest Haven York team, from nurses to housekeepers, therapists to receptionists, gets to know the individuals residing at Rest Haven York. Mandatory training for all staff is conducted year-round so that every team member is equipped with the tools to best address the unique needs of each resident.
