I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Lakewood. I stayed close to home for my undergraduate education, graduating from the University of Colorado at Denver, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Public Health with a Psychology Minor. The next step of my educational journey brought me to Lebanon, OR, where I graduated as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences COMP-NW. I completed my residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas-Wichita.

I was 9 years old when I made the following promise to my local 4-H chapter: “I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world.” This has become a personal mantra for me that I have tried to bring to all facets of my life, and medicine is no exception. It is an immense privilege and honor to care for patients through the most vulnerable moments of their lives, which is something I don’t take lightly.

I am passionate about creating therapeutic relationships, focused on patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine through all stages of life. I also have a special interest in sexual health/wellness and family planning. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband, and our rambunctious German Shorthair Pointer-Chester. Together we love exploring new places; whether it is a new restaurant, brewery, hike, or foreign country, we take them all on with the same zeal. If I end up with any extra free time, you’ll likely catch me curled up with a good book.
