Recovery Works Portage is a 36-bed detoxification unit located on the 3rd floor of University Hospitals (UH) Portage Medical Center that helps individuals manage the symptoms of withdrawal that occur when they stop taking drugs or alcohol after prolonged abuse. The program provides traditional detox services, care coordination and long-term recovery planning. We are the only withdrawal management program in Portage county. We will work hard to meet our patients where they are currently. Our goal is to have them enter a successful recovery care pathway.
