Welcome. Our accounting firm is based in Ridgeland, South Carolina and specializes in professional services in Jasper, Hampton, and Beaufort county in SC. We also service clients from Chatham and Effingham counties in Georgia. Our mission is to provide affordable accounting services to clients, while maintaining a high standard and being accountable to our client partners.

In July of 1984 Henry J. Rawl (Jake) moved to Ridgeland, SC to become a partner in a local CPA firm. On August 1, 1999, Jake formed the accounting firm of Jake Rawl, CPA. In January of 2004 Jake admitted Troy M. Lowther who had grown up in the Ridgeland area into the practice as a partner forming the firm of Rawl & Lowther CPA’s.

As of January 2015 Jake and Troy bring combined professional accounting experience of more than 70 years to their accounting practice.

Jake and Troy are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCAPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). Jake is also a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
