Dr. Lindsy Allen grew up in Highlands Ranch, CO before going off to the University of West Georgia to play softball. After graduating with honors with her BS in Biology, she then received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Allen went on to complete her surgical residency at Phoenixville Hospital, in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then made the move to Santa Fe, New Mexico where she treated a wide variety of foot and ankle conditions, specializing in sports medicine and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Allen treats patients of all ages and focuses on both conservative and surgical treatment to keep her patients active, healthy, and happy. She enjoys using innovative sports medicine techniques, doing minimally invasive surgeries, and is certified in total ankle replacements. Dr. Allen is board certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Forefoot and Rearfoot Reconstructive Surgery and is affiliated with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Allen is an avid Colorado sports fan and loves cheering on the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche and Nuggets. Outside of the spending time with her family, she enjoys hiking, playing golf, target shooting, and traveling. Dr. Allen is proud to call Colorado home and serve her community.

Dr. Katherine Heugel has grown up in a variety of places and has lived in seven different states. She was settled long enough to receive her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Juniata College and went on to pursue her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Remaining in Philadelphia, Dr.Heugel completed her four-year foot and ankle surgical residency at the esteemed University of Pennsylvania Presbyterian Medical Centre. In residency, she gained familiarity with both the medical and surgical management of a wide range of conditions as they present in the foot and ankle. She translated this education into finding a niche in the diagnosis of and management of usual cases as they present in the foot and ankle. Dr. Heugel strives to listen to her patients and encourages a holistic approach, understanding that you cannot separate the person from their foot ailment. She strives to educate her patients and encourage care discussions. Bringing with her six years of clinical experience, Dr. Heugel approaches the diagnosis, and management of any foot ailment be it an ingrown nail, a traumatic injury or a surgical consult with compassion. Dr. Heugel strives for her patient’s to feel valued and receive quality care.
