Peter G. Michaelson, MD, FACS, has joined Stony Brook Medicine Community Medical Group with his newly established practice, Suffolk ENT. This expands access to expert ear, nose and throat (ENT) care in Commack, Nesconset and nearby communities. Dr. Michaelson brings more than 20 years of ENT experience in both private practice and hospital settings in Dayton, Ohio, along with a distinguished 33-year career in the U.S. military.

Dr. Michaelson’s comprehensive ENT practice includes all facets of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, with a special focus on rhinology and sinus procedures. A nationally recognized expert in balloon sinuplasty, Dr. Michaelson also serves as a national instructor for this minimally invasive, office-based technique.
